Here's the problem. But was disguised as one. Here is the first email. Telekom phishing email OK. it seems to me that something is wrong here. The sender's email address and typos are revealing. but not all users are as attentive and experienced in IT as I am. Since I have never been in contact with Telekom with this email address. I have never received such a letter from them before. I have had my email address for years. Then. when I give my email address to the administrative colleague in the Telekom branch I dictate it verbally . I receive a phishing fake email within week. I'm not Industry Email List paranoid. but something is very wrong here. Then weeks later. another attempt. with a different address and message. But it's probably the same thing behind it. because the "payment details are correct". Here is the second email. Telekom data security email problem Here. the email address is a bit "smarter" and tries to be less deceptive. But obviously I don't fall for that either. However. I have many. many questions. To be on the safe side. Here's the schedule. I never received an email from Telekom or pseudo Telekom On July . . I conclude the contract. I enter my email address in the account July . I receive a bogus Telecom bill On August . I received another fake invoice from a different name Maybe there is a coincidence between the two events. but I doubt it. Strong. Why would a phisher send a Telekom bill payment email to a random email address? This does not make sense. After signing the invoice. however.
