She smiled she had known the molly was talking about her. "There's something that's still bothering me though." Birchstrike frowned, she knew what Ivycloud was about to say, the code dictated that they couldn't take mates from other clans but personally, Birchstrike thought that long-dead cats shouldn't be able to tell them how to live their lives, besides if Starclan hated them being together so much they had the power to separate them. Even if anyone tried she wouldn't let them, this was her life and this was the first time she ever felt romantic attraction towards any cat, sure there was the occasional sexual attraction but nothing like this before. "Yes, Ivycloud, you are the most beautiful she I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. I will do my best to make this work." It wouldn't be very hard for her to evade suspicion, after all, she was the deputy and most would think she was out doing things to keep the clans safe. "Of course I don't want to put you in danger but I'd like to see you again. In different circumstances other than patrol." "Of course!" She would like to see Ivycloud again just talking and enjoying each other's company without the distraction of patrolling. "Can you meet me here tomorrow at sunset?" she asked, Ivycloud shouldn't have trouble getting here without anyone asking questions since it was near her clan's territory and if someone saw her sneaking out she could just claim to be restless and wanting to go out on a walk. The compliment made Ivycloud blush, her skin growing hot despite the cold weather. To hear Birchstrike's dedication gave her comfort. Whatever the two went through she was sure they'd made it work. By now the forest was growing dark and the night air was becoming colder. It sent a shiver down her spine. She'd make sure to bundle up with her denmates to keep warm.
Sunset. It wouldn't be too hard for Ivycloud to leave her camp. She'd give them an excuse off the top of her head and slip away. She doubted anyone would notice her leaving anyways unless there was a nosy queen or two. "Sunset works for me." She nodded. Ivycloud would make sure to make it to their meetup spot. "You won't have any trouble getting here would you?" She'd never ventured over to Dogclan's territory, never had a reason to until now. But from what Ivycloud could tell it wasn't a short walk. "It's quite a long way to here. Am I worth the journey?" Her eyes twinkled mischievously. She teased Birchstrike by nuzzling against her before stepping away, putting in quite the distance between the two of them.
"I should be heading back. Wouldn't want a search party sent after me." The mere thought of seeing Birchstrike again tomorrow kept her from getting sad.

"No, not at all. I travel here every quarter moon anyways so I'm used to the journey." She reassured her . "It's quite a long way to here. Am I worth the journey?" Birchstrike purred "You're worth a million of these journeys." Birchstrike smiled "See you tomorrow." She walked up to her and licked her cheek before rubbing against her. She knew it wouldn't be long until their next meeting and the thought of spending so long just hanging out with Ivycloud made her heart flutter. Birchstrike had never been with a molly before and she had begun to think maybe she always wanted to be mates with a molly. Birchstrike padded off walking back to her camp, she glanced back to look at Ivycloud's beautiful face, she was so cute and tiny compared to Birchstrike. It wasn't a long journey back and the thoughts of Ivycloud made it feel much shorter than usual, she felt happy for once in her life. Word Count: 161 Notes:- Tags: nine
