Ranks
Leader
The leader leads the clan. They speak at gatherings, receive nine lives, hold warrior ceremonies and assign warriors apprentices. Changes their Suffix to star when they become leader.
Deputy
Becomes leader when the leader dies, arranges border and hunting patrols, attends every gathering. Must have trained at least one apprentice. If the deputy dies or a deputy just became leader they must appoint a new deputy before moon-high.
Medicine Cat
Medicine cats typically train longer than warriors. They are skilled in healing and every half moon they travel to the mooncave to talk with Starclan they usual.
Warrior
Warriors patrol, fight, hunt and are basically the subordinates of the clan. They receive a unique suffix (Tail, claw, cloud etc.) usually cats become warriors at 12 moons.
Apprentice
Junior warriors tasked with menial duties such as as cleaning the ticks off of the elders. They are taught by a mentor assigned by a leader. Their suffix is always paw.
Queen
Queens are female warriors that are heavily pregnant and moved into the nursery or is nursing kits.
Kit
Kits are cats under six moons old. They are not allowed outside of camp and must be watched.
Elder
Cats that have served their clan for long enough and have retires. They live in the elders den and Apprentices often have to clean their den and their pelts.
