Gathering
Every full moon the four clans meet together, not everyone goes some warriors and apprentices are left behind to guard the camp. Kits are not permitted to go and elders usually stay. Apprentices, new warriors, new kits, famine, danger and all sorts of things are announced and discussed. It is usually held on neutral territory. Here it is held in the "Star cave" a cave between Brackenclan and Pebbleclan territory.

Medicine Cat Halfmoon
On the half moon all the medicine cats from all the clans gather together to travel to The Mooncave and speak with Starclan. They are not permitted to eat before they leave only using strengthening herbs because Starclan will give them strength.

Apprentice Ceremony
When a kit becomes six moons of age they will become an apprentice exchanging their suffix 'kit' for 'paw' they are usually given to a senior warrior but they will be given to younger warriors if their numbers of older cats dwindle. The ceremony goes as is follows
Leader: "Let all cats old enough to [...] please gather under the high rock for a clan meeting!
Leader: (Kit), you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as (new name, ending with "paw"). Your mentor will be (name of warrior or medicine cat). I hope (name of warrior or medicine cat) will pass down all he/she knows on to you.
The leader calls up the warrior he/she has chosen as a mentor.
Leader: (Warrior), you are ready to take on an apprentice. You have received excellent training from (former mentor), and you have shown yourself to be (quality) and (quality). You will be the mentor of (apprentice), and I expect you to pass on all you know to (apprentice).

Apprentice: It is.
Medicine Cat: Then come forward.
Medicine Cat: Warriors of StarClan, I present you with this apprentice. (He/she) has chosen the path of a medicine cat. Grant (him/her) your wisdom and insight so that (he/she) may understand your ways and heal (his/her) Clan in accordance with your will.
The apprentice then touches the stone walls and falls asleep to speak with Starclan

A little before this time they have an assessment usually with cats that were apprenticed around the same time they were. This assessment includes a battle and hunting assessment. In the hunting assessment they are sent off and told what to catch their mentors usually follow and watch where they can be seen. It is rare for someone to fail their assessment and if they do they may retake it soon after. If they do succeed the ceremony goes as follows
Leader: I, (Leader), leader of (Clan), call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. (He/she) has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend (him/her) to you as a warrior in (his/her) turn.
Leader: (Apprentice), do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?
Apprentice: I do.
Leader: Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. (Apprentice), from this moment on you will be known as (new warrior name). StarClan honors your (virtues), and we welcome you as a full warrior of (Clan).

Medicine cats usually train much longer than warriors to learn about all the traditions, herbs and common ailments. Once the Medicine Cat is satisfied with their training they are taken to The Mooncave on the halfmoon. This is the only ceremony not held by the leader the ceremony is as follows:
Medicine Cat: I, (name), medicine cat of ___Clan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. (He/she) has trained hard to understand the ways of a medicine cat, and with your help (he/she) will serve (his/her) Clan for many moons.
Medicine Cat: ___paw, do you promise to uphold the ways of a medicine cat, to stand apart from rivalry between Clan and Clan and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life?
Apprentice: I do.
Medicine Cat: Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your true name as a medicine cat. ___paw, from this moment you will be known as (new name). StarClan honors your (virtues), and we welcome you as a full medicine cat of (Clan).
The medicine cat rests their muzzle on the apprentice's head, and they lick the mentor's shoulder. The other medicine cats greet them by their new name.
Deputy Ceremony
When the old deputy dies or a new cat is made leader a new deputy must be chosen before Moonhigh. The clan is gathered and the leader chooses the new deputy. There is no official script for this ceremony.

They will travel with the clans medicine cat and touch the stone then fall asleep to meet Starclan. Nine cats will then meet him/her usually those significant to them and they will each give them one life with the previous one being ripped away.
Life-Giver: (Touches nose to the top of the new leader's head) With this life I give you (gift ex: courage, energy etc.). Use it well (to, in, as, for, etc.) (use of gift).
When all of the lives have been given, normally the previous leader says these words:
Previous Leader: I hail you by your new name, _____star. Your old life is no more. You have now received the nine lives of a leader, and StarClan grants you the guardianship of ____Clan. Defend it well; care for young and old; honor your ancestors and the traditions of the warrior code; live each life with pride and dignity.
Medicine Cat: I, (name), medicine cat of ___Clan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. (He/she) has trained hard to understand the ways of a medicine cat, and with your help (he/she) will serve (his/her) Clan for many moons.
